Life is a journey that we are traveling through, good friends make the journey better!
What is The Traveling Four About?
The Traveling Four is a lifestyle blog, curated by a group of best friends. The site is run by three main members and the fourth member is rotated between one of our guest bloggers. Together, we will discuss a variety of topics ranging from our favorite traveling spots to fashion to relationships and parenting. Our hope is that you find something within our site that you can connect with… Let’s travel together!
Who we are:
“I travel for sanity, in an insane world”
Hello fellow Travelers! My name is Cierra and I’ll keep this straight to the point. I am a working wife and mother of one. Since I work in accounting, I’m always on the prowl for a good deal. My hobbies include everything DIY, sewing, and bargain shopping. Out of the four, I am the most conservative with a traditional sense of style.
I love to travel…especially with my best friends. My favorite type of vacation is a beach vacation. The Floridian in me always finds peace and serenity whenever I am close to the water. I’m new to blogging and documenting my excursions but hope you find The Traveling Four all-inclusive and exciting.
Hi! I’m Raine, the adventurous one in the bunch. I’m Caribbean flavor mixed with Southern charm. That means I’m a bundle of sweetness with a dash of sarcasm and a sprinkle of side eye. Speaking of sweetness and sprinkles, one thing most people who know me will tell you is that I LOVE to eat. One of my fave things to do with my gals is finding awesome restaurants to try and wow, haven’t we found some prized gems. But don’t worry we’ll tell you all about those and we’re always on the hunt for new ones, so definitely be on the lookout for those articles.
But back to me; I work in health care and love science therefore, I’ll be sharing with you all I know about health and wellness. As the saying goes our bodies are temples so we really have to take good care of them inside and out. On the other hand, I’m also into styling and profiling so I’ll be your guide on fashion and what’s trending in the beauty department as well.
Anywho, can’t wait to start this journey with my besties and all those who will frequent our blog. I look forward to enhancing your lifestyle and having fun doing it. Cheers!
Some times, finding the right words to say about yourself can be difficult… So, I’ll keep this short and sweet. My name is Brittany, and I’m on an ever-evolving journey through life. Some times, I get things right, and some times, I get things wrong but, I’m always trying to move forward, no matter what… Isn’t that what’s so special about life?
I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and I have two boys that have transformed the way I think about my life and the legacy I leave behind. I’m a Black Studies Scholar, a Mother, a Daughter, a Sister, and a Friend who values all of the relationships I have been fortunate enough to have (both past and present), throughout my life. I guess I would classify myself as the artsy intellectual of the group. I’m an avid reader who loves to collect vintage books. I also enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, and learning new things. I love artsy things (painting, photography, graphic design, etc.) and probably would have been a professional designer had my love for Black history not pushed me toward the path of being a historian. I write about Black history via my website, Black History Rocks® and there, I share Black history with any and everyone who wants to know more (I’ll probably share a little bit with you all here too).
What’s up loves! My name is DeeDee. I am a nature and plant lover, proud wife, and proud mother to two beautiful and spontaneous kids, and a fur mom to a playful Siamese cat named Willow. I was a CNA/PCT and phlebotomist for a children’s hospital, also a Special Needs caregiver in Atlanta before becoming a stay-at-home mom. My family is everything to me. I call them my “tribe”. I love hiking, camping, and being outdoors as well as working out (when I can), and practicing yoga and meditation. I also love laughing, dancing, and making the people I love happy. I believe in embracing who you are, loving and owning your uniqueness while having an open mind and heart to the differences of others.
I have a love for and have been studying natural and herbal remedies for years. A lot of what I have used, as a natural remedy,
We are all evolving souls and students of life always learning in our own personal journeys. Live life with all its ups and downs. Laugh and bring laughter to others. Have fun, dance, be silly, and be you freely and unapologetically!

Wazzz up folks, I’m Jamera aka Mere aka Brace Face aka Your Fav. I’m a 31-year old wife and mother of 3 boys and a bomb a** makeup artist. I’m the little sister and sidekick of The Traveling Four. Let me tell you a little bit about myself, I can pretty much do anything art wise, I’m very creative, I love nature, I love traveling, and I love trying new things. I’m pretty much down for almost anything. I’m a thrill seeker and an adrenaline junky, if it gets my heart pumping fast, tag me in. I’m really chill and down to earth also, and I’m going to tell you the real (no sugar coating). I want to live life to the fullest and on my own terms, with no regrets. I hope you guys enjoy my travels and I hope the info I give you motivates you to get your a** up and join in on these awesome adventures, life is inviting you too… Now let’s travel.
Hello! My name is Krystal, the “social butterfly” of the group. I was born in Toronto, Ontario (Canada). Je parle Français (un petit peu). I am of mixed heritage: Jamaican and Irish. My interests include all things hair, beauty, fashion, and FOOD… but, most of all, I LOVE TO TRAVEL and spend time with my family and friends. I am the mother to a beautiful baby boy, so that adds even more purpose to my busy days. I have a Biology/Pre-Med degree, so I am also a science nerd. Oh, and I must add that I am an avid picture taker (I like to capture every memorable moment possible). I look forward to sharing my memories and experiences with all of you.
